Rocklands Farm is 34 scenic acres
located on a historical property in Montgomery County, Maryland,
thirty miles from Washington DC. It is one of the first farms
within Montgomery County's Agriculture Reserve, adjacent to Seneca
Creek State Park and the Potomac River, and is conveniently located
just off River Road, a main road from the metropolitan area used by
destination seeks of open space and scenic farmland.
The dinner will begin with a Farm
Tour, champagne and hors doeuvres, featuring some Market specialties
and other local cuisine.
Guests will then be treated to a
sit-down, multi-course Dinner prepared from some of our areas
top chefs. The dinner will feature wine pairings and a vegetarian
option. In between courses, youll meet the chefs and hear from
speakers about the importance of the Farm to Table
Movement.
Five-course dinner with wine $95; $175/ couple. Including
gratuity & tax. Non-refundable (rain or shine). Limited
Seating.

All profits
from this fundraiser will go to the Olney Farmers and Artists
Market, and it will be used for maintaining its service to the
community.
DIRECTIONS:
From
Olney - the quickest way is to take the ICC to the end (onto
I-370 west until the end), then left on Great Seneca Highway. Turn
right at next light onto Route 28 west. Continue on Route 28 west
(about 8 miles) until you see the Harris Teeter on your right.
Turn left onto Seneca Rd. (Md 112). Seneca Rd becomes River Road.
Turn right onto Montevideo Rd and continue until one lane bridge.
Cross the bridge and follow signs for
parking.
From DC
- Take River Road North about 17 miles. Right onto
Montevideo Dr. to Rocklands Farm (follow directions
above).
